Breast Cancer Trials 45th Annual Scientific Meeting will be held at The Cairns Convention Centre, located in tropical Far North Queensland.

Cairns is considered the gateway to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics Rainforest. The tropical hub is lined with bars, restaurants, and beaches, making it the perfect holiday destination.

The ASM Secretariat is responsible for conference registration only and delegates are responsible for their accommodation.

The public transport available in Cairns is a great way to get around. It’s easy to travel by taxi, train or bus throughout the inner city and the wider region, with regular routes to most major attractions and our main shopping, dining and entertainment precincts.

Cairns Airport

Flights and transfers to and from Cairns, Queensland, are the responsibility of delegates. Cairns Airport is the main airport for flights to and from Cairns, which is a little over 6km from Cairns City. Residents of Australia will not require a passport to travel to Cairns.

Public Transport

TransLink’s public bus service, Sunbus, operates throughout the city, running from the northern beaches to the southern suburbs via the Lake Street bus terminal (located between Shields and Aplin streets).

COVID-19

All international travelers entering Cairns will need to complete and sign an Incoming Passenger Card, which includes declarations you will need to make about your health and character.
