Registration

The Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) is a fantastic opportunity to stay up-to-date with clinical trials and research developments. Delegates have the opportunity to network with leading health professionals from across Australia and New Zealand.

Breast Cancer Trials (BCT) is pleased to offer a reduced registration fee for all current group members to thank them for their support. The registration includes attendance at all sessions, all ASM materials, all catering breaks, plus the social functions. To register for a BCT membership, please click here. Please submit your membership application before May 9, 2024 to be eligible to receive a discounted registration. Any memberships received after this date, will not be eligible for discounted registration rates for the 2024 ASM.

You will be able to access the member registration rate after Board approval is confirmed. Please note that current involvement in a BCT clinical trial does not automatically confirm BCT membership. Please contact membership@bctrials.org.au if you have any questions regarding BCT membership.

There is also a reduced registration fee for Trial Coordinators, Students and Registrars. This is an important meeting providing valuable education and training in the area of breast cancer research and we strongly encourage clinicians to support the attendance of their clinical trials staff.

The Conference Dinner is $275 per person and will be held in the Trinity Room at the Cairns Convention Centre on Thursday 25th July 2024. If you wish to bring a guest/s to the social functions, the above charges apply. Please ensure you note this on your registration form. All fees are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are GST inclusive. If you are not a current member of the group, you are welcome to attend the conference dinner.

The Breast Cancer Trials Annual Scientific Meeting is not open to the general public to attend.

Early-bird registration will close May 31st, 2024.

BCT may be interviewing conference attendees, filming interviews and taking photographs during the conference, including as attendees leave conference sessions. We will use the footage and photographs, or parts of it, for the purpose of promoting the conference and the work of BCT and our fundraising department in our communications, which may include our website, e-newsletters and social media for example.

Individuals who are interviewed will be asked to sign a release form.

ASM registration cancellations must be notified in writing to the BCT ASM Secretariat. Cancellations received prior to June 1, 2024 will receive a full refund less an administration fee of $100.00. No refunds will be made after June 1, 2024.

If you are unable to attend, a substitute is welcome at no extra charge. Please advise the BCT ASM Secretariat the details of the substitute delegate in writing. Alternatively after June 1, 2024 if you are unable to attend in person your registration can be changed to a virtual attendance. No partial refunds will be made.
